Over many years I have developed an intuitive, experimental painting practice, with my focus being the human condition filtered through personal experience. This is expressed through symbolic compositions of self. I am interested in the materiality of the paint and the process of creating (this gets very messy, as can be seen in these images). I have learnt to listen to my gut. Even though I live with self-doubt, life is about stepping up, being brave, and doing it anyway.
